Liverpool, You’ve Got Style

Liverpool, You’ve Got Style

London. Paris. New York. Yeah they’re good, but they’re not a patch on Liverpool. We’ve got real people with raw style and bags of attitude to pull it all off…and we’re going out there to capture you all to prove it.

This July, British Style Collective presented by The Clothes Show in association with Alcatel is coming to Liverpool for a citywide takeover of style. New dates, new city, new experience…

Ladies and gentleman, be sure to wear your most extraordinary outfit on the city’s streets, because It’s Liverpool and British Style Collective are about to shout about how damn good you look – just in time for the big finale in July. Hey, we aren’t the new Clothes Show host for nothin’…

You’re here for a reason: you’ve got some crackin’ clobber! Where’s everything from?
Top – Zara
Skirt – River island
Coat – Topshop
Boots – River Island
Faux Clutch – Topshop

Fashion Do:

Layering is always key – it creates such a fab look and is so versatile for all the different places you can be visiting in one day

Fashion Don’t:

Leggings with short tops – just a major no, especially as most of them are see through!!

What do you reckon influences your style?

I follow so many fashion accounts on Instagram, so definitely that and then usually what I see people wearing around town.

What’s your go-to when you can’t think of what to wear?

Black skinnies, an oversized jumper, heeled boots and a trench coat  – I can wear it for uni all day and then go out for dinner straight after.

Last thing you bought?
Blue fur trimmed denim oversized jacket from Urban outfitters vintage range in L1

Most prominent colour in your wardrobe?

Hate to say it, but definitely black

In hell they’ll make me wear:

Bootcut jeans – lets pray they never make a comeback

Liverpool Style in 3 words:

Chic, edgy, chilled

Wardrobe essential?

Joni jeans from Topshop – so basic but they’re the easiest thing to style and I get way too much wear out of them.
