Ready, Set, LIMF!

Ready, Set, LIMF!

It’s that time of year again – the extraordinary Liverpool International Music Festival is back and this time filled with so many more special and exciting surprises as we celebrate its fifth anniversary. Yes, FIFTH! Time flies…

Every year, LIMF bases itself around a specific theme and this year is no different, with 2017’s theme getting nostalgic as “Remember the Times”. As you can guess from the theme’s title, the festival is gonna take us on a journey you’ll wanna get behind, reminiscing on the many distinctive musical moments throughout the decades that have played an important role in the development of today’s music.

The longgggg wait for our favourite summer weekend is almost over as the fun begins on Thursday 20th July and lasts until Sunday the 23rd of July.

This year our very own It’s Liverpool stage is taking to LIMF with it’s unmissable selection of diverse acts over the few days which you’ll find hard to beat. With so many performances across the multiple stages, there’s almost TOO MUCH to see, but this year the It’s Liverpool stage holds a pretty exceptional line up!

Kicking off from 12pm – 8:00pm on Friday 21th July and hosted by BBC Radio Merseyside’s Dave Monks, the It’s Liverpool stage presents a completely free event with amazing performances from artists such as:

THE FARM • THE VRYLL SOCIETY • XAMVOLO • ZUZU • PINK KINK • NEIL NOA • MARC JONES

Bring your mates and your fam and get down the front!

On Saturday 22nd July, blessing us with another day of the incredible free event, the line-up is looking even more exciting presenting local legends such as BERNIE CONNOR and THE CHRISTIANS to take over the stage. Unreal, right?

Also, we’ll be introducing some new upcoming artists about to hit the big time such as THE SUGARMEN and so many more. Expect a breeze of fresh vibes from the performances.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, our fabulous It’s Liverpool stage saved the best till last, ending the festive music journey with a blast on Sunday 23rd July by presenting the one and only JANE WEAVER! Followed by performances from JO MARY, SUEDEBROWN, NO FAKIN, TEA STREET BAND and many more to end a weekend to remember.

The bars have been raised higher than ever and LIMF 2017 is set to be the most memorable experience of your summer so far. Pack that picnic bag, bring those friends along and make the most of the spectacular music festival and create some unforgettable memories with your loved ones.
